Delete your Steelman account
You can delete your Steelman account and the personal data associated with it at any time.
- Open Profile in Steelman.
- Tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.
- Confirm the permanent deletion.
What we delete
Deletion removes your authentication identity, profile details, owned profile image, private messages, device and release identifiers, notification records, and private relationship data. Public contributions and the score or moderation history needed to keep shared conversations coherent may remain under an anonymous deleted account.
Timing and limited retention
In-app deletion is processed immediately. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days while those backups rotate. We may retain limited security, fraud-prevention, moderation, or legal records for longer when reasonably necessary or required by law. Aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer identify you may also be retained.
Delete specific data without deleting your account
You may use the same email address to request deletion of specific content or other account-linked data. Tell us what you would like removed and include your Steelman username.

Contact privacy@steelman.co. We may ask for reasonable verification before deleting account data so another person cannot delete your account without permission.
